Since I spent a lot of time at the show and shine yesterday so I wanted to check out Goderich a little more today.

But first I had to go to Canadian Tire to get some spray grease as my rear brake pedal was starting to seize. Sprayed it on and the brake pedal was fine.

I then went down to Cove Beach, nice large beach with lots of parking. Beginning this summer people started building inukshuks along the beach. There had to be one hundred to one hundred and fifty of them. I guess I was there at the right time as just over a week later vandals knocked down most of them. The townsfolk came out to rebuild most of them.

Before heading back into town I stopped at the Beach Street Station restaurant for a pint. The building is the old train station that was moved 250 metres closer to the beach.

Then I headed back into the town to get my free ice cream at Cravings.

One thing I thought would be fine is wearing my Converse for most of the time. But as I found out I can only wear them for a few hours when I'm hiking around. So I went to the shoe store downtown but it was closed so off to Canadian Tire again to get some hiking boots.
